We've all heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but are you familiar with #GivingTuesday?
At a time when we are all experiencing the pandemic, generosity is what brings people of all races, faiths, and political views together across the globe. Generosity gives everyone the power to make a positive change in the lives of others and is a fundamental value anyone can act on.
This year, Giving Tuesday is on December 1, 2020, and Save the Dunes is offering free events to get involved and get outside throughout November and December in recognition of this global giving movement. Be sure to mark your calendar to join in on these activities for inspiration, education, and to learn how YOU can protect our Indiana dunes and Lake Michigan.
We hope you will join us at our FREE Giving Tuesday virtual events as we celebrate the Indiana dunes and Lake Michigan.

Black Friday, November 27, 2020
Each year, millions of people and hundreds of organizations join the #OptOutside movement to demonstrate the power of the outdoors against the turbulence and chaos of Black Friday sales and crowds. In 2020, the outdoors have become increasingly important amid the pandemic, a contentious election season, and widespread civil unrest. As we will not gather in person this year for an organized hike, we encourage you to get outside and to share your #OptOutside experience on Facebook and Instagram with #SavetheDunes! See you on the trails!
